Founded in the year 2000 (Cameroon Reg. Number G38-C64-371). Roughly translated Etum Akuwa Ya Akpak means "Aid to Orphans and the Poor". ETAYA completes small development projects in the Manyu Division of Cameroon, West Africa. To date, close to 200 projects have been completed including donations of textbooks and desks to elementary schools, business training seminars for women, a micro credit program for women, donations of farming equipment and tools, renovations of a community fish pond, donations of resource materials to a nurses training college, support of a community radio and donations of medicines. Upcoming projects include continuing education seminars for health care workers and scholarships for poor girls.
